Those of you that watch “Homeland” know Mandy Patinkin as CIA Director Saul Berenson.  What you do not know is that Mandy Patinkin is so much more than just an actor.  Mandy is using his role on the hit drama as a vehicle to influence the world and specifically Middle East politics.  Some people believe in coincidences, I personally do not, and whatever your politics we all must agree that a world filled with peace and harmony is much better for us all.  Mandy is applying a larger, selfless intention to his work is an example for all of us.  I am a better man for watching and listening to Mandy and I hope you will be as well.  There are tons of incredible quotes that I will try to document when I have some more time, but the most memorable and easily applicable is a quote from Mandy’s mother, “Hurt people, hurt people.”  Think of that the next time you are involved in conflict and see how it changes your perspective on the situation.
